The Call for Abstracts for FASDlive 2012: Expanding our Vision is now open. Abstracts must be submitted by April 1, 2012.
This conference about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder is brought to you in partnership by the FASD Support Network of Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan Prevention Institute, Saskatchewan Ministry of Health and the Canada Northwest FASD Partnership.

FASDlive 2012: Expanding our Vision will include a Scientific/Research stream and a Community Programs and Strategies stream. Both streams will focus on four priority areas: Prevention; Intervention; Support; and Diagnosis.
The Call for Abstracts is a Microsoft Word Fillable Form. Completed abstracts are to be emailed to Marlene Dray, Program Committee Chair, at mdray@preventioninstitute.sk.ca by April 1, 2012. Notice of Acceptance will be sent by email before April 27, 2012. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Marlene at 306-655-2526 or at the above email.

Mark your calendars! The FASD Family Support Program would like to invite parents in Saskatoon and area to attend the upcoming Family Support Meetings on February 22 at 7:30 pm and March 21 at 7:30 pm. Meetings are held at the Shaw Centre 122 Bowlt Crescent. Family Support Meetings are a great opportunity to gain support and meet other parents while sharing information and snacks. If you have questions or need more information, please call the Family Support Workers, Allana at 975-0881 or Gerry at 975-0885.

We hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and would like to take the opportunity to invite you to a very special Family Support Meeting. If you are a parent or caregiver of a child, youth or adult living with FASD you might want to take an evening to connect with other families. Please feel free to bring your children. The FASD Family Support Program would like to invite you to attend a Family Support Meeting. Please join us at The SHAW CENTER in Saskatoon, on Wednesday, Jan 18th from 7:30-9:00 pm.
The meeting will host a variety of direct service organizations that provide support to those living with a disability some of the organizations include: CLASSI, The Cognitive Disability Strategy, Saskatchewan Association for Community Living, Parent-to-Parent Ties. We hope you will take advantage of this rare opportunity to meet directly with service organizations in a one-on-one capacity. The meeting will be catered so come hungry!
